This year a total of 25 contestants received their official sashes with the names of the cities and towns they represent. One of them will succeed last year's appointed Miss Universe Malta, Maxine Formosa, who compete at the 71st Miss Universe pageant in New Orleans, Louisiana, USA last January and made the biggest success for Miss Universe Malta organization till date. She won the title of Miss Congeniality which is one of the most prestigious awards making the first Maltese model to be awarded on the most popular beauty pageant in the world.
The next Miss Universe Malta will be sent to the 72nd Miss Universe pageant which this year will be held at one of the most beautiful countries from the Americas- El Salvador later in December.
This years contestants had an opportunity to introduce themselves through introduction videos that were publish at all media platforms created by the Miss Universe Malta Organization.
