Milan, Italy 22/02/2018- Taking the fact that I want to meet my followers with this designer I will write a short summury of his biography . So Pedro Pedro (born in 1973), completed a Fashion Design Course at the Academia de Moda do Porto, in 1997. He began his professional career in 1996 and that same year won 1st Prize in the "New Expo-Wear Designers" competition. He began doing fashion illustrations and developed several projects within the industry: uniforms, jean line and streetwear for Men. In 1998, he created the Pedro Pedro brand and has since showed at the "Porto de Moda" and “Portugal Fashion” events. In 2003 he won the 1st Prize at the "I Mode You European Fashion Awards 03", held in Brussels. In 2004, he collaborated with Júlio Waterland in the launch of the “Pedro Waterland” brand, shown at the “Portugal Fashion” and “ModaLisboa” events. He displayed his work in 2006 and 2007 at the Paris Fashion Week. He has since then carried on with his “Pedro Pedro” brand, under which he has displayed his work since the Spring / Summer Collection 2008. His work has been featured in magazines such as "Vogue", “Elle” or "Collezione Dona".
Pedro Pedro on Milan Fashion Week 2018
Milan fashion week 2018 was also welcoming the new collection of the Portuguese designer Pedro Pedro and was very happy to be invited on this show and follow the new collection from first row. It was a collection where we can see a lot of different textures, lines, really good design and hard work that at the end really pays off. His collection this time was really successful and brilliant cause everything that he offers in his collection was on the right place. All the accessories, bags, shoes and scarfs that he add in the collection were a good point to finish the stylish classic look that remind all of us to the fashion in the past where was all about the design, construction and accessories. This was very successful collection for my taste and following the blog I pick up some styles that really impress me.
Taking the fact that this year was the first show I was attending I choose to shine in the design of the really talented Maltese designer Ritienne Zammit that create original and interesting creation for me, part of her collection Kiss of Judas by Caravaggio and it was very interesting how many people were surprise about the creation and wanted to take photos of me and put this look in some of the most popular world fashion magazines.
