San Giljan, MALTA- The most important people that we need to mention at the end of every year are of course the designers that are working really hard to achieve and present their collections not just in Malta but also outside in the world. Here are the top 5 Maltese designers that according my blog achieve the most in 2017.
1. Charles and Ron Van Maarschalkerweerd Borg
Owning the Charles and Ron, this year was definitely the year of the most fashionable couple here. All the collections that they present were totally amazing, high fashionable and mesmerizing. Nobody will forget the fashion show they organized in Birkirkara where they present their new collection in special way under the open sky which later on was presented to a couple of fashion weeks in Europe and USA. Their achievement is not just personal but achievement of all Maltese people and Maltese fashion. Wearing piece of Charles and Ron already say how fashionable you are !
2. Gaetano Busutill
Managing the Couture By Gaetano, Gaetano is one of the most popular designers here in Malta among the models and Maltese people. His ability to work with the women silhouette, body lines and specific fabrics make him very different and designer that can be remembered. His collection from the last fashion week 2017 is still something that we speak about and he can be proud that he had the best one ! He work almost for the most popular Showbiz people here and start presenting also his collections on the European fashion weeks. If you want to feel like real women and DIVA than his is the best choice that you can ask for !
3. Ritienne Zammit
Manages Ritienne Zammit, this designer is someone that i personally like as one of the best on the last Malta Fashion Week showing different angle of the usual things. She is an educated designer and in her collection you can see idea and thats what makes her very specific artist. She is original and include in her work a lot of Maltese tradition and culture. Also one of the few that work with her own made materials and fabrics and no one will forget all the fabrics dedicated to Valletta that were seen on the runway during the fashion week. If you wanted to work with designer that is really original than she is the right choice!
4. Rosemarie Abela
Working as a Studio Manager/ Designer at Rosemarie Abela, this young designer had also a successful year having the opportunity to open the Maltese Fashion Week 2017. In her design we can discover a passion and hard working enthusiasm. She is specific and try to save the real fashionable values in her creations. Hope to see much more from this talented girl in upcoming years. Working with this kind of artists can really always remind us what is high fashion. 5. Marco Parascandalo
Owning the PARASCANDALO, Marco is the designer that is always included in the top designers of this country. His fashion collection are famous not even in Malta but outside Malta and many people are interested to wear his clothes. He is specific artist and his design can be easily compared with the most famous world designers. Collections that he presented this year were one of the best in the entire year.
